Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

If I could give 6 stars I would! They made me like asparagus - it just doesn't get any better than that. I've been to three different Biaggi's actually and this one never has fallen short. The best of the best! My favorite dishes are the bread with dip the served to every table before a main course of filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes, ending with the creamy, yet fluffy and light Tiramisu.

I ordered a gluten free margherita pizza, which tasted like the ones you get from the frozen section at the grocery. It did not resemble a margherita pizza at all, and didn't have any basil. I'm really disappointed that their pizza wasn't better. I'll stick to 800 degrees!

The food was delicious! The staff was incredible and attentive. I had the lobster and crab cannelloni with fresh spinach noodles in a tomato cream sauce and it was easily the best I have ever had. I had never been to one of these restaurants and we stopped by out of the blue while traveling for business. But if I am out traveling again and passed by one, we will surely stop and eat again!

This place has the best Italian food in town! I ordered the Ziti Al Forno and it was absolutely fantastic! I also ate some of my friend's leftovers because their meal was so good too! They ordered the Fettuccini with Lobster (i actually liked this more than my dish but they were both amazing.) Our server was so polite, accommodating, and quick! This place definitely deserves 5 stars!

This was a nice place for lunch. Had the half pasta and half salad, and chose penne sardi. Not bad at all for a chain restaurant. I would return again. Nice service and nice decor.

Love the curbside service! I'll call as I'm leaving work and my order is ready when I get there. Plus I don't have to leave the car! I can't leave there without a piece of Lemon Tower Cake, delicious!

We always love Biaggi's. Our server Brooklyn was great and the food is consistent. Tonight, I brought my two children and they love the paper over the tablecloth that they can draw on and Brooklyn was very patient and accommodating with the kids. I always order the pork chops and they were as always delicious. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because it is on the expensive side for a chain restaurant and the hostess wasn't particularly welcoming. Overall, a good experience.

Excellent food. The complementary focaccia bread with olive oil offers a great beginning. The chicken dishes are my favorite with Chicken Parmesan topping the list. The ambience is nice and service is quite good. Leave room for dessert!

We get to Biaggi's a couple times a year...and are going to double it this year!!! We have always been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, staff and ambiance. While it's a bit pricy, you get what you pay for!!! Our lunch started with FRESH Crab Cakes with an incredible sauce. Then the Lobster corn chowder and half an avocado-turkey sandwich. My sweetie enjoyed the small pizza and house salad. We shared and it was only exceeded by our bartender Kayla!!! Adam, who brought our food was a delight as well ! They were very busy and we had a wonderful experience. Knowledge, Fresh Food, Hospitality and Service are languages spoken fluently. We had a similar visit our last time. In this world of less than stellar performing restaurants, Biaggi's is a STAR!!! Management and Staff should be PROUD!!! Thanks!!!!! :-)

A solid Italian offering that specializes in its ambiance and decor. In my opinion, Biaggi's pasta and main course options are second tier to the service, and atmosphere the restaurant offers. Bit pricey for their CASA level entrees but never a bad decision when one chooses Biaggi's.

My husband and I went here on a Wednesday night. It was not extremely busy, but that is why we went on a Wednesday. I am sure it is packed on the weekend. The waitress was very professional and knowledgeable about the specials and regular features and suggested a few items. I had the chicken Florentine soup, and my husband had the garlic tomato soup, which was a special. He would have ordered a regular salad, but we just hate the "weeds" that some restaurants call salad now :) they did have a wedge and Caesar salad available. The bread basket is fantastic and so is the habit of the wait staff putting the parmesan cheese, pepper and oil on a little plate for you to dip your bread. YUM! My husband had the chicken parmesan which consisted of 2 chicken breasts, and I had the rigatoni. Both were very good, and we couldn't finish them. I was dying to try their desserts, as they sounded fantastic, but I just couldn't :( We had a great time, and will definitely be back.

The closest thing to Italian American food perfection. One of the good food finds on this trip.

We always enjoy our food from Biaggi's. We did a take out order today Love the gluten free pizza. We ordered bacon wrapped dates, but they were burned, very burned and not very tasty. I'm surprised they sold these.

Biaggi's is very good for chain restaurant food. The atmosphere is upscale without being intimidating. I have seen many families eat here. The paper table covers and crayons are great for entertainment. The appetizers are generous and well done. We love the selection of breads and the olive oil dip. The grilled calamari and steamed mussels are particular favorites. We also love the angel hair pasta with seafood---frutti di mare. The soups are always good, if a little heavy with cream. Wait staff very accommodating and courteous. Biaggi's back room is great for parties and meetings. Good wine selection.

Biaggi's is like a step-up from Olive Garden, but I would never say it's "authentic" Italian food. However, that doesn't mean it's not damn good food. Everything always tastes fresh, there's always a large selection of items - even for the gluten free crowd (just ask for their GF menu), and the staff is always extremely knowledgable about the menu and specials. The bread and salads are wonderful - big steps up from the much-loved Casa's. I had the tilapia from their lighter picks menu one night and it was DIVINE. Also love their pasta dishes. Sadly, wouldn't recommend the pizzas. Also, it's all reasonably priced - not cheap, but you feel like you're paying for exactly what you're getting. If you're not a fan of loud restaurants, don't bother - lunch or dinner, it's always a little loud in there. It's clean, and somewhat nicer looking than a typical Fort Wayne restaurant.

For a chain this place really has got it going on! I am always impressed with the food. The food is a little pricy but I don't mind paying a little more for good food. So many places just try to get the cheapest product and here they have good fresh food. I always go at lunch to try and cut down on the price, plus they have a really good half and half deal. I always get the half Biaggi club sandwich (turkey, baccon, lettuce, alfalffa sprouts, and some sauce to die for) and the ceasar salad. The salad is refillable for no extra charge. You can even switch from the type of salad you are eating and try the others, or try the soup, which is also good. They also serve some really good soft and hard bread with olive oil for dipping. This is free with the meal and refillable as well. The service was great, as we were there for a late lunch and was pretty much empty. But even when they are busy, servers are always nice and on it! I love this place and will be back again soon.

Back in Fort Wayne and enjoyed dinner at Biaggi's. We were pleasantly surprised. Pork Chop's on the menu are excellent! Perfectly marinated for 24 hours, grilled and topped with a Parmesan/Gorgonzola sauce. Mashed Potatoes were perfect and the veggies were AL Dante. Nice wine list and good service. We were served in the lounge. Will definitely add Biaggi's to our list of good restaurants.

One of the few places in Fort Wayne that I regularly enjoy eating at. Even though they tend to rotate their menu regularly I can always find something appealing.

Great food, nice atmosphere. I will eat there again.

As far as Italian cuisine goes, Biaggi's is great in Fort Wayne. The food is not only delicious, but wonderfully displayed. The head chef is incredibly talented and service is top-notch.

The food is delicious, the servers are attentive, the lunch specials are great and there is a lot of variety. This is one of my favorite places in FW. It does get a little loud at peak times.

Good place to grab some modestly priced Italian grub. It's amazing coming out to Fort Wayne and sitting down for some food. You don't realize how tight everything is in the city (I live in Chi town). The waiting area was giant; we sat so far away from the other people waiting I could barely make out their gender. The GF and I were seated at a booth that could easily fit 10 people. We ordered some drinks which were made to our liking and were half the price of what we pay in the city. We just sprawled in our extraordinarily large booth and ate some calamari, minestroni soup, salads, and respective pasta entrees. All of which were pretty tasty. It's nice to have a change of pace, price, and location every once in awhile.

okay the salads are out of this world. definitely try the ceasar ( they dont use anchovies thank the lord ) and the messina salad which is pretty much the ONLY thing i get here anymore. someady im going to force them to tell me where they get their feta because it is AMAZING. everything is always super super fresh, crunchy, good. and im really picky about "fresh".. the pizzas are reallly really good as well. any of them. the servers are usually cute happy people and are super professional. sweet tooth? get the chocolate chip banana cake. yummmmm. negative star for the ice cold bread basket that our table gets 80% of the time. ive had the bread served warm before and it was amazing. cold? no way.

We had a party for 14 here in the "wine room" recently, for a celebration dinner. The room was perfect for a family group. We ordered from the menu. Food was great and enjoyed by the whole group, which included kids, a wide variety of tastes and a few who follow a gluten-free diet. The garlic shrimp and the filet mignon in particular got great reviews. Service was attentive for a large group, and they accommodated delivery of a cake from an outside bakery. Thanks for helping us with a great party!

To Die For Good!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never ordered anything there that wasn't delicious. And the portions are enough to take half of it home for the next day

What a wonderful meal at Biaggi's tonight! We have been there many times and always had great service and great food.

It turns out I've eaten at Biaggi's before. It was in Rochester, NY several years ago back during college. In fact, it was so memorable, I needed to read the locations on the back of the menu to remember what it restaurant it was. Pros: + The atmosphere is really nice for a chain, kind of fancy, almost looks to nice to wear jeans. Almost. + The selection is pretty good for drinks. + Decent sized, moderately diverse menu. + The bread is nice for chain Italian Cons: - Lets start with paranoid. I don't mind being carded, in fact, I expect it. I'm 24, and a business has a lot riding on their bar business, too much to lose it in fact. I know I'm out of state, but seriously, if you need to come over, collect my idea, check my credit card, and then still can't manage to figure out if it's 'authentic' or not before the food gets to the table, then you need to find a new system. That sort of service is unacceptable. - Speaking of the food, it's not very good. The sauce wasn't particularly inspired, and the chicken that it topped was dried out. The cheese lacked favor, and the pasta for some reason inexplicably showed up in cream sauce... The cannelloni were supposedly good, but they looked dry. - To really make sure you've got a good amount of fat in there, they add cream to pretty much every pasta dish. That's not really healthy. - Finally, the servers are nice, but I don't like getting someone else's credit card slip to sign. Lets try to keep it together. Overall, Biaggi's is ok. There doesn't seem to be a lot of competence in the food department. If really stuck, and looking for Italian it would suffice. It'll probably leave you seeking more though.

I've visited twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. Each time, the food and the service have been excellent. In fact, their variation on Osso Buco, with pork instead of veal, still stands out as one of the most memorable meals I've had in the last few years. I'm a former travel writer who has had an overwhelming number of good meals at some very fine restaurants and resorts. And I think Biaggi's far exceeds its mall location and "chain" status. Well worth a visit.

I stopped in for a quick lunch and got the sausage stuffed mushrooms. The shrooms were average and the wines by the glass a little less than average for an establishment of this type. The pricing did make it a decent value, however, and there are TVs at the bar so you can watch the games. Service at the bar was average. Overall, I probably wouldn't stop in again just because there are other places that provide a better experience.

As far as Fort Wayne goes, people seem to think that this place is the bees-knees. I beg to differ. The food is good but not fall-out-of-my-chair wow. Their calamari is fresh enough to not make you gag, but I have had better. The wait staff has been accommodating, courteous, and still attentive even in busy hours. If you need your standard Italian fix, it's decent.
